Renata Philippe

Renata Philippe is a DC-based designer, mother, wife, and Army veteran. As the founder of Black Squirrel Company, she designs and manufactures sustainably sourced home goods and personal accessories that bridge contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship. Renata's dedication to craft and community has earned her local and national recognition from the DC Chamber of Commerce and the American Craft Council. Her family is a proud recipient of the birdSEED grant, and she is honored to serve on the Advisory Board.
